I’ve eaten here half a dozen times and it is consistently delicious food served to your preferred spicy level. The food is always hot, fresh, and full of flavor. They have lunch specials with reasonable prices, about $12 per plate. Excellent service experiences as well. Favs: The pad wasoon is my favorite and the pad thai is also very good. My kids like the sesame chicken.

We’ve tried just about every Thai restaurant in San Antonio and have finally found one that delivers high-quality, FRESH, made-to-order dishes that will quite literally make your taste buds sing! Though the restaurant is small and you may have to wait a bit; it’s super clean, smells like your Thai Grandma’s home, and offers a friendly, welcoming atmosphere to enjoy true comfort food. Fear not if you visited before and weren’t impressed — Thai99 is now under new ownership (since early September 2024) and definitely did not disappoint! Chef Wen and Chef Bee’s creations are pure delight! We’ve tried a little bit of everything…Thai Cheese Rolls, Vietnamese Spring Rolls, Yum Gai, Pumpkin Curry (bomb!!! ), Green Curry, Drunken Noodles, Pad See Ew, Stir Fried Eggplant, Mango Sticky Rice, Coconut Ice Cream, sweet Thai Teas... What a delicious treat everything has been! We’d be hard-pressed to choose a favorite but that creamy Thai pumpkin curry is a solid 10/10 ~ sheer, creamy, savory-sweet perfection! Chef Wen, Bee, and Brandon, thank you for welcoming us like family ~ we’ll definitely be back, with more family and friends in tow!!!
Nice, comfortable, clean and relaxing place to enjoy Thai cuisine. Got the Tom Yum soup with tofu and a side of rice. I also got Thai ice tea for a drink. The soup was wonderful and the tea was sweet and smooth. For dessert ordered tapioca. This was a nice way to end the meal and it had thin strips of coconut for added flavor. Service was excellent. Overall great place to dine, relax, and enjoy a nicely prepared meal.
Brandon and his team continues to deliver exceptional service, along with the best in class dining experience filled with delicious eats! The food here is simply phenomenal—easily the best Thai cuisine I've ever tasted!!! Each dish is packed with authentic flavors, fresh ingredients, and an incredible balance of spices. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warmth and friendliness by the owners, Wen and Brandon, who truly make you feel right at home. Their passion for both the food and their guests is evident in every detail. I highly recommend this little gem off Huebner Rd. to anyone craving delicious, creatively prepared, authentic Thai food. I have been looking for good, authentic Thai food since moving to San Antonio and finally found it! Pad Thai is wonderful. Pot stickers taste homemade. Chicken spring roles are unique! (Just wish they had a sweet duck type sauce for them). I can’t wait to try more!
